Background of the study
The globalized world of today means that education is a field that is always changing, and teachers are essential in determining the course of nations. As teachers, it is their duty to hone the minds of the next generation in addition to teaching knowledge. The experiences of instructors as new practitioners are one area of educational research that has not gotten much attention.
New teaching practitioners are teachers who are continuously experimenting with novel ways, learning new techniques, and trying to get better at what they do. These educators are committed to their pupils' success and are not satisfied with the current state of affairs. They have a strong desire for constant development. (J. Smith & A. Johnson, 2023).
In the Philippines, newly hired educators encounter a variety of things in the classroom, from the satisfaction of pay raises to the extreme fatigue that comes with being a teacher. Although the possibility of earning more money is a motivating factor, many teachers struggle with the demanding nature of their work, which frequently results in exhaustion and burnout. Given these difficulties, there is an urgent need for specialized induction programs that help new teachers get through the hurdles of the teaching profession. These kinds of programs ought to provide helpful advice, mentoring, and materials to assist new teachers in handling the demands of their job, promoting efficient classroom management techniques, and building perseverance in the face of difficulty (Peria et al., 2019).
Teachers are crucial in determining the future of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) due to the region's dynamic educational landscape. Research on instructors' experiences as amateur practitioners in the BARMM environment is, nevertheless, scarce. These educators are always looking for new ways to improve their methods, try out creative ideas, and participate in lifelong learning (Gomez & Santos, 2023).
In the locality of Barira, Maguindanao, teachers play a crucial role in shaping the educational landscape of the community. however, there is a lack of research exploring the experiences of teachers as amateur practitioners within the specific context of Barira, Maguindanao. Since no research has been done on this issue, it is necessary to continue this study in order to learn more about this problem.
