The National Book Development Board (NBDB) has officially renewed the certification of Pinagpala Publishing Services (PPS) as a recognized book publisher, seller, and printer in the Philippines. Manila, Philippines – Pinagpala Publishing Services (PPS) made a notable contribution to the National Library of the Philippines (NLP) by depositing 205 copies of its 108 recently published books and other materials.This event, which took place today, highlights PPS's commitment to enhancing the nation's literary resources.
During the handover, PPS CEO Dr. Blessedy M. Cervantes presented the books to NLP Librarian II Mr. Joel P. Lascano. Dr. Cervantes expressed pride in the diverse selection, stating, “We believe in making quality literature accessible to all Filipinos. Our publications reflect a wide range of topics and genres that cater to various interests and age groups.”
The deposited collection includes educational books, children's literature, trade books, journals, magazines, and newsletters. This variety not only supports educational initiatives but also encourages reading among different demographics, particularly young readers.
