ABSTRACT
This mixed-method research study aimed to determine the implementation of the Talino at Abilidad ng Kabataan sa Larangan ng Aritmetika ay Dagdagan (TAKLAD) program as a basis for an enhancement program. The results of the pretest and post-test revealed both high and statistically significant improvements after the implementation of the TAKLAD program. Three major themes emerged from the responses of teacher-participants regarding their experiences with the program: the happiness derived from the learners' eagerness to learn, the challenges encountered during the program's implementation, and the essential role of differentiated instruction in the teaching-learning process. Five dominant themes emerged as hindering factors: students' irregular attendance, gaps in foundational skills, a large teacher workload, schedule conflicts, and socioeconomic challenges. Three key themes were identified as facilitating factors: a supportive learner attitude, teacher competence and initiative, and a small-group setting. These factors highlight the conditions that allowed teachers to effectively conduct and sustain TAKLAD sessions.
