ABSTRACT
The objective of this research was to enhance the technical skills of non-teaching personnel at Aldea Elementary School through the implemention of the 'Ugnayan' Streamlining Strategy in response to DepEd's policy of removing administrative tasks from teachers. Mixed-methods approach was applied using surveys, skills inventories, focus group discussions, interviews, observations, and performance reviews. Findings show that communication, document management, and basic computer operations as critical skill areas. Increased confidence, improved task performance, and greater organizational efficiency were the post-intervention results. Mentorship, relevant training, and collaboration facilitated success, while digital literacy gaps and unclear role transitions posed challenges. Thus, the ‘Ugnayan’ strategy proved to be a responsive and sustainable model for equipping non-teaching staff with essential technical skills, fostering a more efficient and inclusive school environment aligned with the MATATAG Agenda.
