Collaborative leadership has become an important approach to improving educational quality by promoting shared decision-making, professional collaboration, and collective responsibility among educators. This study examined the roles of teachers in collaborative leadership and their contribution to quality education at Guindawahan Elementary School, Pio V. Corpus, Masbate, during the School Year 2023–2024. Specifically, it determined the level of collaborative leadership in terms of working with colleagues, communication, and decision-making; assessed its contribution to student academic performance, teacher effectiveness, and overall school performance; identified challenges encountered in implementing collaborative leadership; and gathered teachers' recommendations for strengthening collaborative practices. The study employed a descriptive research design using total enumeration, involving all sixteen (16) teachers of the school. Data were collected through a researcher-adapted and expert-validated questionnaire and analyzed using frequency, percentage, and weighted mean. The findings revealed that collaborative leadership practices were highly observed among teachers, particularly in collegial collaboration, communication, and shared decision-making. Teachers perceived collaborative leadership as having a positive contribution to student academic performance, teacher effectiveness, and overall school performance. However, challenges such as time constraints, workload, communication barriers, and resistance to change were also identified. Teachers recommended strengthening professional collaboration through continuous capacity-building programs, improved communication systems, increased participation in decision-making, and stronger administrative support. The study concludes that collaborative leadership serves as an effective strategy for enhancing educational quality by fostering teacher engagement, improving instructional practices, and promoting school effectiveness. Strengthening collaborative leadership practices may therefore contribute to sustainable school improvement and better educational outcomes in Philippine public elementary schools.
