• Submission: Authors or their representatives must submit their works by the specified deadline each year. Only published works are eligible for consideration.

• Categories: Awards may be given in various categories, such as fiction, poetry, non-fiction, and children's literature.

• Language: Works can be submitted in any Filipino language or dialect, as well as in English.

Criteria with Percentages

• Creativity and Originality (30%):

  • The work should exhibit a high degree of creativity and originality, offering fresh perspectives or innovative storytelling techniques.

• Literary Quality (30%):

  • The work must demonstrate excellent writing, including mastery of language, compelling narrative structure, and well-developed characters or themes.

• Cultural Significance (25%):

  • The work should reflect or contribute to the understanding of Filipino culture, history, or society, resonating with both local and international audiences.

• Impact (15%):

  • Consideration will be given to the work's potential impact on readers and its contribution to the literary community.
