Introduction
Education systems around the world are increasingly using digital technologies to improve teaching and learning, make administrative work more efficient, and support better decision-making. As schools transform to more digital information, the effective use of technology has become essential for improving educational practices and organizational performance.
UNESCO (2024) emphasizes that digital transformation strengthens education and learning management systems, improves monitoring processes, and supports more resilient and inclusive educational environments. Similarly, the World Bank (2016) claims that Education Management Information Systems (EMIS) provide systematic and high-quality data that enable educational planning, governance, and evidence-based policy decisions. These developments demonstrate the growing importance of information systems in educational governance and indicate that effective information management is an essential component of school administration.
The way schools manage information and do their daily work is changing because of technology. Schools are getting bigger. They must deal with a lot of data, like student records, teaching materials, and administrative papers. Wagan (2025) specified that it is not practical to use paper-based systems for all this data. Schools need to access the information they need quickly and accurately.
