The study “21st Century Skills of Cainta Senior High Students: A Descriptive stud” assessed the proficiency level of 21st-century skills among students of Cainta Senior High School during the School Year 2022–2023. The research utilized quantitative-descriptive research and used an adapted and validated questionnaire based on the 21st-Century Skills Assessment Scale (21CSAS). The study examined six core skill domains: creativity and innovation, critical thinking and problem-solving, communication and collaboration, information, media, and technology literacy, initiative and self-direction, and social and cross-cultural skills. Results revealed that students were generally proficient across most skill areas, with high proficiency observed in initiative and self-direction as well as social and cross-cultural skills. However, lower ratings were noted in the application of creativity, problem-solving under pressure, communication clarity, and technical troubleshooting. Furthermore, significant differences were found in all skill dimensions when respondents were grouped according to their age, indicating that proficiency improves with learners' maturity and educational exposure. The findings highlight a gap between students' foundational knowledge and the practical application of 21st-century skills using real-life contexts. The study revealed that while students demonstrate adequate readiness for the demands of the 21st century, the researcher recommends that targeted interventions and curriculum enhancements should be put in place in order to strengthen the learners higher-order thinking and performance-based competencies. The result of the study provides a basis for developing evidence-based programs and instructional strategies that will further enhance students' preparedness for higher education, employment, and lifelong learning.
