Abstract
This study looked on the integration and effectiveness of biomechanics adjustments and plyometric training programs in improving athlete performance in selected team sports at the University of Rizal System, notably basketball, baseball/softball, and volleyball. Using a quantitative descriptive-correlational approach based on Ecological Dynamics Theory, the study questioned 47 coaches and 100 athletes to assess implementation and its impact on performance measures such as skill execution, physical fitness, and mental toughness. The demographic profile revealed a coaching staff dominated by experienced, highly educated males, whereas the athlete cohort was heterogeneous, consisting of late teenagers with varying levels of regional competition experience. The data revealed that both coaches and athletes regard biomechanics and plyometric interventions as "Very Much Implemented" and very successful. The biomechanics emphasis was particularly focused on technique improvement and injury prevention, while plyometric exercise was praised for increasing explosive power and agility. Statistical analysis revealed a significant positive correlation between these training interventions and overall athletic performance, implying that the systematic application of movement science and explosive conditioning leads to better game outcomes and physical resilience across all surveyed sports disciplines. Based on these findings, the paper recommends the "Integrated Biomechanics and Plyometric Sports Training Development Plan for Team Sports Performance Enhancement" to standardize these advanced training techniques. The study concludes that, while current implementation is strong, there is a critical need for advanced professional development for coaches particularly in international level biomechanics analysis as well as customization of training regimens to meet the specific educational backgrounds and experience levels of athletes. These proposals seek to create a more inclusive and scientifically driven sporting environment that promotes long-term peak performance and injury prevention.
