Abstract
This study investigated the effectiveness of the ARAL Program in enhancing the reading comprehension and fluency of Grade 7 learners at Buenasuerte Integrated School. Recognizing the critical role of strong literacy skills in academic success, this research aimed to determine if the ARAL Program could significantly improve these foundational abilities. A quasi-experimental design was employed, involving an experimental group that participated in the ARAL Program and a control group that received standard reading instruction. Pre-tests and post-tests were administered to assess reading comprehension and fluency levels at the beginning and end of the intervention period. Findings are expected to provide empirical evidence on the ARAL Program's impact, offering valuable insights for educators, school administrators, and policymakers at Buenasuerte Integrated School and potentially beyond, in their efforts to improve reading instruction and student outcomes.
