ABSTRACT
The study, see to Addressing the Negative Effects of shall we say there is while they are insufficient learning materials to the Academic performance of students of Centro Integrated School, Uson, Masbate that will led to most common suffers by this dilemma from the school they belong most usually affects to be in Grade – 9 students. This show how serious we can make it that the students are also even affected in the same way, with us teachers. The thematic analysis of the codified classroom- based research employed the quantitative approach.
Data collection checklist used for the study findings acquisition. A list of organized question items for respondents to answer in a standardized manner. The sample consisted of 20 students and 18 teachers. Teaching Practice, experience of scarcity of teaching materials during our teaching practice resulted to the negative effects of academic performance of students. It was mainly personal information of a respondents, it stated that ages are from 14-15 years and we have 11 boys and 9 girls. The second question is, what are the factors that affect student’s academic performance? showed that the two factors that matter to their performance are instructional materials and classroom management. Results showed that loss of listening interest is the most agreed amongst the negative effects of having insufficient learning materials as proved from questioning under third and fourth questions. The next question is for the teachers who also cares about teaching performance and it just has an adverse impact on them.
This study also means that because there are not enough learning materials, the students were more conscious of their weaknesses in mastery over the subject matter as there is a limited demonstration of the topic for teachers to teach. This is a serious matter because the teaching – learning process of both learners and teachers are being affected due to the said problem.
The suggestion and recommendation that might probably with is collaboration with the school administration. This is a good suggestion as it ensure the quality of learning student might gain when provided variety of educational materials.
