Introduction
The teaching workforce is made up of instructors from varied age groups, backgrounds, experiences and professional trajectories, each of which might influence how teachers approach their work and respond to the demands of the educational system. Millennials are regarded as a generation that matured during a time of dramatic technical and societal change that may shape distinct expectations and experiences in academic settings (Dimock, 2019). Thus, understanding the demographic features of millennial instructors becomes crucial in characterizing the composition of the teaching workforce and in recognizing the diversity that exists among this generation of educators.
Specifically, this study tried to find out their demographic profile and whether there is a difference when grouped according to selected parameters. It is crucial to investigate demographic variables as teacher qualities and professional circumstances may influence teachers’ experiences, needs and engagement in professional learning and development (OECD, 2020).
